Ofsted
Braywick Court School is an exceptional school, and this has been clearly recognised by Ofsted who judged our school as "Outstanding in all areas" both in 2017 and 2023.

Ofsted rated the school outstanding in all categories, including effectiveness of the quality of education, leadership and management, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and early years. The recent report mentions that:
- we are a community of excellence
- the school succeeds in its vision to provide a rich and inclusive learning environment where pupils become confident, independent learners
- pupils thoroughly enjoy coming to school and they feel happy and safe
- the school prepares pupils very well for the next stage of their education
- around the school, at break and lunchtimes, pupils are polite and respectful of others
- pupils enjoy a wide range of enrichment opportunities, including very many extra-curricular activities and trips
- the curriculum is exceptionally ambitious, it is designed to be exciting and interesting
- learning activities provided enthral pupils.

Performance data
In 2024, 77% of our KS2 pupils achieved the expected standard or above in reading, writing and mathematics.
There is no progress data for this cohort nationally, as no end of key stage SATs assessments took place at the end of the academic year 2021 and 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions.
Good Level of Development (EYFS)
In 2024, 80% of our pupils achieved a good level of development at the end of reception. This is significantly above the national average of 67%.
Phonics Screening
In 2024 81% of pupils in Year 1 successfully passed the Phonics Screening Check, this is inline with national statistics of 80%.
