Trips and Residentials
Educational trips and residentials provide safe opportunities for children to learn outside the classroom, develop important life skills, and they bring their classroom learning to life. These experiences are designed to complement the curriculum and enhance the children's learning in a fun and engaging way.
We understand the importance of caregivers and parental involvement in our trips and residentials, so we provide detailed information about each trip, including the itinerary, activities, and safety measures in place.
Day Visits
Day visits are one of many ways for children to gain knowledge on topics taught in our curriculum, while engaging with their local community. We provide a range of day visits to pupils which enhance and enrich their learning.

Residentials
A residential trip is an important milestone in a child’s life, playing a key role in developing their confidence and independence. These trips are an integral part of each pupil’s personal development, offering valuable experiences that help prepare them for secondary school.
Year 4 pupils have the opportunity to visit Ufton Court on a two-day residential trip, immersing themselves in the world of the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. The children get to experience a range of practical activities, role play and a costume banquet!
Year 6 visit Manor Adventure in Shropshire. Staying at the 100 acre site for five days, they have the chance to explore a range of outdoor adventure pursuits. This trip is the perfect springboard for the pupil’s transition to secondary school.
